What happens in the room

“Sound meets you where you are.”

These sounds don’t just fill the room; they move through you. There’s nothing you need to “do” — the experience unfolds for you.

The Sound Bath

What happens in a sound bath.

During a sound bath, you’re invited to lie flat on a comfortable mattress or rest gently in a chair, allowing your body to settle and your eyes to close. As you soften into stillness, waves of sound begin to flow around you — the pure tones of singing bowls, the delicate shimmer of chimes, the grounding pulse of drums, the breathy resonance of pipes, and the deep, enveloping vibration of the gong.

These sounds don’t just fill the room; they move through you. Each session is unique because sound intuitively meets you where you are, offering what your physical, mental, and spiritual layers most need in that moment. Many people describe feeling deeply relaxed, emotionally lighter, or subtly transformed, as if the vibrations gently reorganize what’s been out of balance.

Once you settle onto your mattress or chair, let your body fully relax and allow your breath to become natural and unforced. There’s nothing you need to “do” — the experience unfolds for you. Trust that the sounds will guide your inner journey, supporting healing, release, and renewal across all levels of your being.

Your Hour

How an hour unfolds.

i

Settling

You arrive, find a mat or a chair, and get comfortable. Blankets and cushions if you want them. A few slow breaths together and a guided relaxation before the sound begins.

ii

The bath

Vinodha plays the bowls, chimes, drums, pipes and gong around the room and, at times, close to you. The sound builds and softens in long waves. Your only task is to lie there.

iii

Returning

The sound thins out into quiet, and you are given time to come back slowly. Most people are in no hurry to sit up.
